SHOCKER! At Last, VP Osinbajo Tells The Truth, REVEALS How He Emerged Buhari's Running Mate

Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, has broken the silence on the controversy surrounding his emergence as running mate to President Muhammadu Buhari, in the 2015 Presidential election.

The Vice President, confirmed on Thursday night, that he was recommended to the position by someone in high place, whose name, he however, did not disclose.

Osinbajo, who spoke at the Presidential dinner organized in honour of over 200 graduates and beneficiaries of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, at the Old Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, tactically refused to mention the name of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, who many believed helped him emerge as Vice President.

Recently, there were controversies on how Osinbanjo emerged as Vice President to Buhari, at the expense of Tinubu.

According to Tinubu, Osinbajo was a product of religious balancing, which became an issue in last year’s Presidential election.
However, Osinbajo, while speaking at the dinner, said that “somebody somewhere has to give a helping hand, whether to be a Vice President, or to be an Aircraft Pilot, or to be an Engineer.”

He told the gathering: “I was in a group of young men and women, and one of them asked the question how did I become Vice President; I was never a politician or anything like that.

“So I tried to explain; it is quite simple that someone somewhere has to recommend you. Somebody somewhere has to give you a helping hand.

“Whether to be a Vice President, or to be an Aircraft Pilot, or to be an Engineer, somebody somewhere has to give you an opportunity, and I think that all of you that are here today are the beneficiaries of the opportunities that you have somehow received.”

Sources, have averred that the inability of Osinbajo to publicly name Tinubu as his godfather, was possibly to avoid backlash from the Presidency, especially now that Buhari and the Jagaban are allegedly in a cold war.
