Buhari's SA On Media, Adesina Speaks on The President's Age and its Effect on Nigeria
Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, on Wednesday reacted to claims that the President may be too old for the job of leading Nigeria.
Speaking during a TV appearance, Adesina said President Buhari, at 73, is not too old to lead Nigeria.
"At 73, you are not exactly a young man but Tunisia elected an 88 year old man last year. He is leading the country. As long as a man is sound mentally, physically, sound spiritually, he can be president. Our constitution did not prescribe an upper limit as to who can be president," the Presidential spokesman said.
